Why do Only Fools and Horse's Work?
Our puppet of Joey aka Trigger
Take some plywood, copper pipe, a handful of plumbing fittings, a group of enthusiastic students and turn an idea into reality.
Our challenge was to design and produce a lifesize 3D sculpture of a horse that is also a real working puppet. We wanted to capture the power, grace and structure of these beautiful animals. The project ran for about 7 months with most of the work done in lunchtimes and after school.
Every now and then you do something that exceeds your expectations, sometimes you wonder if you really did that - this was the case with Joey, he has been exhibited at art exhibitions and walked through town as part of parade proving Only Fools and Horses do work.
